Daniel

Optical Gallery Manager

Daniel is our Optical Gallery Manager at Olson Eye Care Madison. He has worked in both Optometry and ophthalmology fields for over 25 years. His passion for people and relationship-building is contagious. Daniel has a special gift of finding the perfect frame for your face, coloring, and lifestyle. His other passion is food. Outside of work, you will find him in the kitchen, surrounded by his friends and family creating another exquisite new dish. He competed in PBS's Create cooking challenge where he placed 10th nationwide. He also loves relaxing in the sun and traveling to warm sunny beaches

Beth

Optical Lab Manager

Beth is our optical lab manager. She manages our on-site optical lab and helps ensure your glasses are made correctly. You will also see her in the optical gallery, helping patients with eye wear selection, adjustments, and repairs. Beth really enjoys helping our patients find a frame and lens to best suit their visual needs. As a 25-year radio veteran, she also has a passion for music. When passing by the optical lab you will likely hear her playing her favorite band, the Beatles. Outside of work, Beth enjoys creating new vegetarian meals and fostering dogs for the organization"Friends of Noah".

Heather

Optometric Technician
Heather joined the Olson Eye Care Team in 2018. She has a background in healthcare and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from UW-Madison. At Olson Eye Care you will find Heather taking on multiple tasks. She does exam pre-testing, contact lens training, deals with vision insurance claims for all 3 locations, and phone triage to name a few. She enjoys educating patients and strives to provide outstanding patient care. Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, listening to live music, and cheering on the Badgers.

Joni

Optical Technician
Joni joined the Madison Olson Eye Care team in early 2022. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Nursing with an emphasis in Pediatrics from the College of St. Catherine. At OEC, you will find her performing the eye pretesting prior to seeing the doctor. Joni strives to provide excellent care using an individualized and kind approach for each patient. Outside of the eye clinic, Joni is grateful for any time spent with her husband, four kids, goldendoodle and large extended family and friends. She loves traveling, boating and pretty much anything outdoors!

Taylor

Billing Specialist
Taylor is our Billing Specialist at Olson Eye Care. She joined the OEC team in 2022 and helps all three locations with their billing needs. Taylor is originally from the Madison area and earned her degree at Northcentral Technical College. After graduation, she became interested the the eyecare industry and started working at a private practice. Taylor is very detail oriented and is always eager to answer any billing questions our patients may have. Outside of work, you can often find Taylor and her husband outdoors with their three dogs, or riding their motorcycle. They have 2 yellow labs, Sage and Grizzly, a Husky Mix Mya, and a Cat Stella. She also enjoys hunting, dog training, and relaxing at the family cabin. "Thank you Veterans!" -Taylor

Michelle

Optometric Technician
Michelle is a certified optometric technician with over 15 years of experience in the eye care field. She strives to provide our patients with a comfortable experience during their pre-testing prior to seeing the doctor. When she's not involved in patient care she looks forward to football season. Michelle also enjoys listening to music, decorating her home, and spending time with her pets.

Katrina

Lead Optician

Katrina is the lead optician and office manager at the Lake Mills office. She is dedicated to great patient care and has over 30 years in the optical industry. She is very knowledgeable on lens products and frames that will best serve your visual needs. It is her goal to help you see and look great. In her free time Katrina loves to read, rehabbing furniture into incredible works of art and spending time with her family.

Dawn

Patient Care Coordinator

Dawn is one of our patient care coordinators on the Lake Mills team. She has worked in healthcare for 20+ years. She worked as a Physical Therapy Assistant for many years and then recently transitioned into the eyecare field. Her passion for helping patients is apparent when you meet her.

Dawn and her husband Tim have 4 adult boys, and an elderly cat named Punkin. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, hiking, traveling, reading, and spending time with family. (She's also very excited to become a grandma this summer!)

Mary

Patient Care Coordinator

Mary is one of our dedicated patient care coordinators at our Lake Mills clinic. With 26 years of experience as a pharmacy technician, Mary transitioned to the optical field in 2019, bringing her extensive knowledge and passion for patient care.

Mary and her husband, Scott, have three adult children—one daughter and two sons—and two beautiful granddaughters. In her spare time, Mary enjoys reading, walking, and traveling.

Marcia

Office Manager
Marcia is our office manager at Olson Eye Care Waupun. She has over 23 years of optical experience and always strives to provide extraordinary patient care. When you arrive, you will see her welcoming face at the front desk. Marcia also enjoys meeting with our frames vendors choosing unique frames for our office. She believes in creating long-lasting, caring relationships with the people in the community. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her 3 daughters, trying new restaurants and long walks with her dog Clover
